Protecting Our Neighborhoods
Protecting the safety and character of Claremont’s neighborhoods is one of my top priorities. Claremont is special. Let’s keep Claremont, Claremont.
Public Safety
Claremont deserves a well-staffed Police Department and a proactive approach to public safety so our city remains a safe place to raise a family.
Affordable Housing
I believe in affordable living for all. We can meet state housing requirements through intelligent, community-supported solutions like sensible infill and ADUs, not oversized high-density projects driven by outside interests.
Homelessness
Homelessness requires compassionate, effective local solutions. I support rapid response community-based programs that emphasize sobriety, responsibility, and strong supportive services.
Protecting Our Urban Forest & Wilderness Park
Claremont’s urban forest and Wilderness Park are central to our quality of life. I am committed to protecting our tree canopy, preserving open space, reducing wildfire risk, and ensuring responsible maintenance so these natural resources remain accessible and protected for future generations.
Youth Master Plan
In 1995 the School District and the City working together completed a comprehensive Youth Master Plan, recognizing that it takes a Village to raise a child. In 2007 the plan was updated. Much has happened during the past 20 years. I believe it’s again time to update the plan.
As your councilmember, I will listen, show up, and make decisions that put Claremont residents first.
